Man kills youth for harassing daughter in Bengaluru, arrested
The Bengaluru police have nabbed a man for allegedly killing a 21-year-old youth for harassing his daughter.
The victim was identified as David, a resident of Wilson Garden who was into food delivery.
The accuse identified as Manjunath, working as cab driver and lived with his wife and three children at Anepalya.
David was reportedly in a relationship with one of Manjunath’s daughters. Recently, Manjunath found out about their relationship and warned Manjunath.
He also advised his daughter not to continue the relationship. However, David allegedly continued to call her over the phone and threatened to leak some of her private photos to her friends and family members if she refused to continue in the relationship.
The daughter told her father about the threats. On Monday, Manjunath asked David to meet him near Subbanna Garden. After a brief argument, a fight broke out and Majunath attacked David with a knife, leading to his death, the police said.
