Zomato CEO Turns Delivery Agent For A Day, Faces Shocking Treatment At Mall

For a day, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal decided to turn into a delivery agent and surprise people by delivering their food orders to their doorsteps with his wife Grecia Munoz.

But the experience wasn’t smooth sailing for him.

When CEO Goyal attempted to collect an order from a prominent Gurugram mall, he wasn’t allowed entry into the main entrance or lift. He had to climb up the stairs from a different entrance to pick up a food package.

In his post on X, he shared his experience, stating, “During my second order, I realised that we need to work with malls more closely to improve working conditions for all delivery partners. And malls also need to be more humane to delivery partners. What do you think?

Goyal, dressed in the signature uniform of a Zomato delivery agent went out to experience the challenges faced by his team. “Chilled with my fellow delivery partners while also getting feedback from them,” he said in the clip.
