A man in Karwar, identified as Arun Varnekar, known for his unwavering support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, shocked many by chopping off the forefinger of his left hand.
Varnekar performed this extreme act as a sacrifice to Goddess Kali, praying for PM Modi’s third terms in office. Residing in Sonarwada area of Karwar city, Varnekar’s dedication to PM Modi goes beyond conventional measures. He has constructed a temple dedicated to the Prime Minister in his home and conducts regular special prayers in his honor.
After severing his finger, Varnekar used his blood to inscribe a plea on his house walls, asking Goddess Kali to protect ‘Modi baba.’ He fervently believes that PM Modi is the epitome of greatness and expressed his conviction by inscribing Modi baba sabse mahan” on the wall, he also wrote Maa Kali Mata, Modi baba ka raksha karo.”
Previously, during the 2019 general election, he had made an attempt to cut off his finger but could not do that for some reason. This time, however, he managed to chop off his finger.
Having previously worked in the Mumbai film industry, Varnekar now resides in Karwar city, caring for his elderly mother. Despite being unmarried, his devotion to PM Modi remains unwavering.
