KANNUR: A woman died after run over by a speeding car in Eachur. The dead is Beena, an employee of co-operative group in Munderi. The accident happened when the car driven by Lithesh, a policeman of Kannur Town Station, ran over her.
Beena, who was walking on the side of the road, was fatally knocked down by the vehicle after losing control. The police have got the CCTV visuals of the accident.
