Due to high rainfall in the costal belt of karnataka, and a possibility of high water levels in the rivers and streams, a holiday has been declared in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on Tuesday, July 25.
The respective deputy commissioners of has ordered closure of all schools and undergraduate colleges in the twin districts.
Holiday has been declared for Anganwadis, primary and high schools, pre university colleges, government, aided and unaided private schools.
