Spiritual guru Jaggi Vasudev undergoes brain surgery; condition stable

Delhi: Renowned spiritual leader, founder of Isha foundation, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev underwent emergency brain surgery at Apollo after being hospitalized due to a massive swelling and bleeding detected in his brain on March 17.

Reports state that Sadhguru had been experiencing severe headaches for several days before his admission.

Upon examination by Dr. Vinit Suri, an MRI revealed extensive bleeding in Sadhguru’s brain. His condition worsened rapidly, prompting admission to Apollo Delhi on March 17 due to recurrent vomiting and worsening headaches. A critical brain swelling was confirmed through a CT scan.

A team of doctors, including Dr. Vinit Suri, Dr. Pranav Kumar, Dr. Sudheer Tyagi, and Dr. S. Chatterjee, performed an emergency surgery. Post-surgery, Sadhguru was successfully removed from the ventilator, and his condition has been steadily improving.
