Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited the Vantara wildlife conservation center in Gujarat’s Jamnagar district. The center, an initiative by Anant Ambani, is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating injured and endangered wildlife.

During his visit, Modi interacted with rescued animals, including tiger and lion cubs. He was seen playing with the cubs, feeding them, and observing various species such as giraffes, elephants, and exotic birds.

The facility has treated and cared for over 1.5 lakh animals, providing them with state-of-the-art veterinary care. Modi, who had earlier inaugurated the center, returned to inspect its progress.

The visit highlighted the government’s emphasis on wildlife conservation and animal welfare. Anant Ambani, who was present alongside Modi, has been actively involved in the initiative.
A video of Modi’s interaction with the animals has gone viral, amassing millions of views and sparking widespread appreciation. Many have praised the efforts to safeguard wildlife, and Vantara continues to serve as a significant conservation hub.
