MANGALURU: The Urva police have arrested two people in connection with a moral policing case. The duo had allegedly attacked a Muslim medical student when he had gone to Panambur beach with five friends on Friday.
The accused have been identified as Deekshit (32) and Loyd Pinto. They had attacked Hafeez (20) near Bejai Kapikad in the City.

The victim, a student of a prestigious medical college in Mangaluru, was allegedly attacked by a gang when he had gone to Panambur beach with his friends.
The accused allegedly followed the medical student on a bike and then attacked him. There were two boys and four girls in the student group.
The injured Hafeez complained at the Urva police station, and further investigation is under way.
