In a shocking incident, a 50-year-old man brutally killed his wife and hanged himself in residence in Sadar area’s MOIL Colony of Maharashtra’s Nagpur. As per the primary report, the man suspect that his wife was having an extra-marital affair with a man working at MOIL.
The husband gave light to this inhumane crime late Saturday night while the teenage daughter of the two was asleep in the other room. The murdered wife’s name is Sonia Mandalay. The name of the accused deceased husband is Rajesh Mandalay.
As per a police official, both the husband and the wife would engage in intense arguments as the man believed that his wife was cheating on him with another man. When the two were engrossed in a heated argument, in a fit of rage, the husband charged his wife using a hammer.
Due to the head injury, his wife immediately lost her life. After that, maybe after realising that he has killed his own wife, the man hangs himself from the ceiling, the police added. Police have also found a suicide man and they suspect that the man wrote it. News agency PTI reported quoting the police.
