Kalaburagi: A 36-year-old man and his two children on Sunday died by suicide in Pochavaram village in Kalaburagi district Karnataka. Hanumantha, 36, jumped into a well along with his children Omkar, 9, and Akshatha, 6. All three drowned.
Hanumantha was a daily wage worker in Hyderabad and was living there with children and wife. He returned to his village on June 16 along with his children. He made a call to his brother Gopal before resorting to suicide. A family dispute is suspected to be reason for the collective suicide.
Gopal informed the police after receiving the call from his brother. The fire force recovered the bodies from the well and sent them for post mortem. A case has been registered at Kunchavaram.
