Paris Paralympics: Kapil Parmar Creates History, Becomes First Indian Judoka to Clinches Medal

Kapil Parmar became the first Indian to win a medal in para-judo at the Paralympic Games on Thursday, September 5. His medal taking India’s medal tally to 25.

Kapil Parmar defeated Elielton Oliveira 10-0 to win bronze medal in the men’s para-judo 60kg category at Paris Paralympics 2024.

India has won 25 medals – five gold, nine silver and 11 bronze medals – at the ongoing edition in Paris.
