The Indian men’s and women’s 4x400m relay teams have secured a spot at the Paris Olympics after their impressive performances at the World Athletics Relays.
The women’s team, comprising Rupal Chaudhary, M R Poovamma, Jyothika Sri Dandi, and Subha Venkatesan, finished second in their second-round heat with a time of 3 minutes and 29.35 seconds, behind Jamaica.

Similarly, the men’s team, including Muhammed Anas Yahiya, Muhammed Ajmal, Arokia Rajiv, and Amoj Jacob, also finished second in their heat with a collective timing of 3 minutes and 3.23 seconds, trailing the USA.
The athletics events at the Paris Olympics are set to commence on August 1.
