Pune: 21-year-old student was allegedly killed by his gay partner in Wagholi area of Maharashtra’s Pune. According to police, the accused allegedly stabbed the student to death with a sharp weapon. The accused youth was later booked by police.
According to Police officials, the victim was pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course and living in a hostel in Wagholi, Pune. The youth attacked the student with a sharp weapon on Bakori Road in Wagholi on Tuesday. After the attack, the accused fled from the crime scene.
A person who was passing through the area rushed the victim to a hospital. However, the victim succumbed to the injuries during treatment. According to officials, the victim revealed the name of the youth just before his death. The accused has been identified and a case has been registered against him under IPC Section 302.
Officials said, “A separate team has been formed to probe the incident.” They added that efforts are underway to track the accused. “The accused managed to escape as the victim died,” they said.
