The Indian trio of Sarabjot Singh, Shiva Narwal, and Arjun Singh Cheema clinched gold in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol Team event by securing a total score of 1734.
Their remarkable performance allowed them to bang the team gold, narrowly edging out China by just one point.
Vietnam put up a strong showing and claimed the bronze medal with a total score of 1730. Sarabjot, who earned 580 points, secured the fifth position, while Arjun, with 578 points, claimed the eighth spot during the individual qualification event. Both of them are set to compete in the men’s 10m air pistol final scheduled for later today.
This marks India’s 24th medal in the current edition of the Asian Games and their fourth gold medal in the sport of shooting.
