Kasargod: 14-year-old boy drowned in the river in Kanhangad. Sinan, 14-year-old son of Abdulla Kunji of Arayil Vattathod, died. The accident occurred in the Arai Karthika river at noon yesterday. The boy had gone down to bathe with two other friends.
The boy, who did not know how to swim, was drowning in the pool. After an hour, the child was found during the search conducted by the locals. He was rushed to the hospital, but his life could not be saved. He is a 10th class student of Thrikaripur School.
