Karnataka minister compares Prajwal Revanna with Lord Krishna, says ‘he wants to break record’

While the entire nation is shocked at Hasan’s Pen drive case, the Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna’s alleged sexapades, the political reactions over the issue have not done any good.

In what can be perceived as a communal touch to the fiasco, Karnataka’s Excise Minister RB Timmapur has made an abominable statement, comparing Prajwal Revanna to Lord Krishna, who is worshipped as an avatara by millions of devout Hindus.

He said, “Sri Krishna lived with women with a lot of devotion. Perhaps Prajwal Revanna wanted to beat that record.”

Prajwal Revanna has been at the receiving end for his alleged sexgate. Even as the case unfolded, he fled the country and is in Frankfurt, Germany. Even as we file this report, he put out a tweet informing the SIT through his lawyer that he would appear before it in 7 days.

The Karnataka government has formed an SIT to probe the entire scandal. Meanwhile, Karnataka CM shot off a missive to PM Modi seeking his extradition. The CM also pointed fingers at Devegowda, alleging that he played a role in helping him flee the country. The JDS has expelled him from the party for his scandal.
