Final year Diploma student ends his life for alleged harrasment by a Head of Department (HoD) in a prestigious college in Bengaluru. Mechatronics diploma student has passed away after having committed suicide. The victim identified as 18-year-old Kushyanth.
The incident occurred in the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) Electronic City Centre (NEC). An accusation of harassment has been made against the HoD of Industrial Management Shiju. Kushyanth is reported to have been reprimanded by Shiju over his project work. Kushyanth’s parents have alleged that Shiju remarked that Kushyanth looks like a dead body and so does his project.
The parents have been distressed over this incident and have pleaded that such predicaments must not fall on anyone. A complaint has been filed in the Bagalagunte Police Station. Kushyanth’s friends have also raised their voice in demand for justice for their son.
