Bihar: An eighth-grade student at a residential school in the Gopalganj region was arrested on allegations of murdering his six-year-old junior at the institute’s private dormitory in Patna.
The body of Aryan Kumar Singh, a resident of the Kusha village in the district’s Bhore police station, was found on the terrace of the hostel for the New Gyan Lok Competition School.
According to reports, SP Gopalganj Swarn Prabhat created a five-person SIT under the supervision of Lalan Kumar, an inspector in the Mirganj circle.
According to Prabhat, police and forensic teams, as well as a dog squad, looked into the crime scene where they found a brick and a piece of clothing covered in blood.
The police also looked through CCTV footage in which the 15-year-old suspect was seen leaving the terrace on Saturday morning. He confessed to the crime after being questioned by the police. He stated that he claimed the youngster murdered Aryan in a fit of fury.
Earlier on Sunday, The body of a 10-year-old boy was found in a field in Shahjahanpur village in Rajasthan, according to authorities, who also reported that the youngster’s throat was reportedly cut.
The boy went to fly kites with his cousins, according to the police. However, he disappeared after going off by himself into the field to gather kites.
